Our firm has been at the forefront of corporate and general litigation in Cyprus for the past 17 years. Our experience includes, litigation arising from corporate disputes, freezing orders, injunctions, banking and debt collection, contracts, personal injuries, admiralty, insurance, competition and EU law, labour disputes, real estate and family law.

2006: First time in Cyprus a Norwich Pharmacal discovery Order is issued. In the context of the civil fraud litigation, our firm together with another firm retained by the Plaintiffs, filed a distinct Norwich Pharmacal Action and acquired a Norwich Pharmacal interlocutory discovery injunction for the first time in Cyprus.

2009: Interlocutory freezing injunction was issued in aid of London Arbitration Proceedings. Our firm retained by the Plaintiffs, filed an Originating Summons pursuant to the Cyprus International Commercial Arbitration and acquired an interlocutory freezing injunction in aid of London Arbitration Proceedings.

2017: First time in Cyprus an Interlocutory Notification injunction was issued ordering the Defendants to notify in advance any alienation of assets. Our firm retained by the Plaintiffs, acquired for the first time in Cyprus an Interlocutory Notification injunction ordering the Defendants to notify in advance any alienation of assets with a value exceeding the amount of Euro 0,5 mil.

2019: Handling, together with another firm, an action lodged by foreign companies against several local and foreign defendants for a multimillion fraud case. In the context of the said action we manage to obtain a freezing injunction, a Norwich Pharmacal Order and an order for the appointment of an interim receiver.

2020 Handling for two of the defendants the Cyprus proceedings initiated by a foreign entrepreneur, against several foreign and local natural and legal persons for fraud and successfully discharge the ex-parte freezing injunction issued by the plaintiff.

On the 9th March 2016, Mr. Spyros Ierotheou, one of the 2 name partners of our office, was admitted as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. His member affiliation to the Institute is another proof of Mr. Ierotheou’s consistent and high quality professional and ethical standards in the fields of law and arbitration.
